This policy explains how your privacy is protected in the HivePet mobile app and on the hivepet.com.tr website.

1. Data We Collect

We store your account details (username, e-mail), your location data if you grant permission, and the information you enter about your pets. Location data is used only for features such as the radar map, walk tracking and feeding points.

2. How Data Is Used

Your data is used solely to provide the service, secure your account and handle support requests. We do not build advertising profiles and never sell your data to third parties.

3. Storage and Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored on access-restricted servers. Passwords are stored as irreversible hashes.

4. Cookies

Our website only uses cookies required for sessions and for remembering your language preference; no third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used.

5. Account Deletion and Data Download

You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Delete Account by typing SIL in capital letters to confirm, or by writing to info@hivepet.com.tr. Deletion cannot be undone; your personal data is permanently removed, subject to statutory retention obligations. Under Settings → My Data → Download My Data you can request an export of your data under KVKK.
